Commercial Partnerships Manager

Job description

Commercial Partnerships Manager
London | Hybrid
Up to £60,000 basic + Uncapped OTE
Financial Services Space

Do you want to take ownership of a high-growth commercial function within a respected brand in the financial services space?
Are you commercially driven, partnership-led and motivated by building something properly – not just hitting a number?
This is an opportunity to own and grow sponsorship and partnership revenue across a well-established, highly engaged professional community. The platform is trusted by senior finance leaders and delivers value through events, content, digital channels and peer-to-peer engagement.
The business has built significant credibility and audience scale. Now, they are ready to scale the commercial engine.

The Role
This is not a transactional sales role.
You will take full ownership of sponsorship and partnership revenue, building a structured, repeatable commercial function while delivering short-term revenue growth.
You will:
  • Own end-to-end sponsorship sales – prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing and renewals
  • Sell integrated, cross-platform packages across:
  • Events (digital and in-person)
  • Webinars and demo days
  • Sponsored reports and thought leadership
  • Digital content and community activations
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline from inbound and outbound activity
  • Develop commercial packages, pricing strategy and sales collateral
  • Build long-term, partnership-led relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Work closely with marketing and community teams to shape commercially viable products
  • Represent the brand confidently at events and industry gatherings
This is a role for someone who enjoys both hunting new business and nurturing long-term strategic partnerships.

About You
We are looking for a commercially hungry, credible and organised sales professional who thrives in environments where there is ownership and autonomy.
You will likely have:
  • 3–6+ years’ experience in B2B sponsorship, media or event sales
  • A proven track record of hitting revenue targets in the £300k–£1m range
  • Experience selling integrated, multi-channel packages
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders (Marketing Directors, Partnerships Leads, Founders, C-level)
  • A partnership-led mindset rather than purely transactional selling
  • Strong negotiation and commercial storytelling skills
  • The discipline to manage pipeline and forecasting properly
You may also bring an existing network across financial services, fintech, SaaS or professional services – although this is not essential.
Most importantly, you will be:
  • Driven by ownership and bonus
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
  • Entrepreneurial in mindset – thinking like a mini-CEO
  • Motivated by long-term growth rather than short-term comfort
  • Seniority Level Mid-Senior level
