  • Position:                     Business Development Manager Contract:                    Full time/Perm Salary:                        £40k + 30% OTE We are seeking a capable and driven Business Development Manager to support the continued commercial growth portfolio of international conferences, exhibitions and media products. ​ You will be responsible for selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages and advertising solutions to both existing and prospective clients. ​ Key Responsibilities Sell exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities and advertising solutions via telephone, video and face-to-face meetings. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation, contracting and payment. Develop new business through proactive outreach and qualified inbound leads. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within HubSpot CRM. Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling across the portfolio. Attend events and relevant international industry events to represent the business and meet clients. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure alignment between sales activity and event delivery. What We Are Looking For Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within events, conferences, exhibitions, media or a related sector. Knowledge of commercial aviation training markets would be advantageous.  Performance-driven, with a clear focus on achieving and exceeding targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills, confident engaging senior stakeholders. Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload. A positive, professional team player with a proactive approach. Comfortable using CRM systems; HubSpot experience is advantageous. Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Your role with have an also have an international feel to it.    The Successful Candidate will have: Experience in patent drafting, filing and prosecution in the field of chemistry/ pharmaceuticals. Experience in comprehensive patentability, infringements and FTO. Strong understanding of chemical principles and technologies. A good understanding of English.
