Business Development Manager – Corporate Sponsorship Partnerships

�� £65k basic + uncapped commission (OTE £100k+)
  
If you're a commercially driven new business salesperson who enjoys opening markets, building relationships with senior stakeholders and closing high-value deals, this is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic sponsorship sales role.
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to sell premium sponsorship partnerships (£25k–£40k+) around established industry events attended by senior leaders across sectors including:
• Financial services
• Legal
• Insurance
• Consultancy / professional services
This is not a transactional “sell stand space” role. Instead, you’ll develop consultative partnerships that combine thought leadership, brand positioning and long-term commercial relationships.
  
What you’ll be doing
• Opening new sponsorship markets and building a new revenue stream
• Selling high-value partnerships (£25k–£40k+) to corporate brands
• Building relationships with senior decision-makers
• Managing longer-term pipelines (typically 6–10 month sales cycles)
• Attending industry events and networking within the sector
• Designing creative sponsorship packages tailored to each partner
  
What we’re looking for
Someone who:

✔ Is comfortable selling high-value B2B solutions
✔ Can hold credible conversations with senior corporate stakeholders
✔ Is resilient and motivated by longer-cycle, relationship-led sales
Backgrounds could include:
• Sponsorship / partnership sales
• High-value B2B sales
• Recruitment (strong new business background)
• Professional services business development
