Head of Membership – Global Community Growth

Package: Up to £67,000 base + 100% uncapped OTE + sponsorship override
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in London office

The Opportunity

As Head of Membership, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial growth of an established global forum with an international reach. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your remit will be to design, evolve, and deliver new membership models and benefits that attract senior decision-makers from across industries.
This is a highly visible leadership role with clear potential to scale into a broader commercial leadership position as the membership base and revenues continue to grow. You’ll balance hands-on new business delivery with strategic vision, ensuring the proposition remains innovative, relevant, and commercially compelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement a long-term commercial membership strategy, with ownership of multi-million revenue targets.
  • Develop new membership tiers, benefits, and propositions to attract a diverse and expanding global audience.
  • Build and close new business pipelines, engaging at C-suite and senior executive level.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders internally to align membership with event, sponsorship, and product teams.
  • Strengthen member engagement and deliver measurable growth in retention and new acquisition.
  • Represent the organisation at major international events, strengthening visibility and relationships worldwide.
What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive B2B sales experience with proven success in membership growth, business development, or commercial strategy.
  • A consultative relationship builder who can influence and engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on commercial delivery.
  • Experience designing or evolving membership propositions and delivering revenue growth.
  • International outlook with the flexibility to travel globally.
  • Telecoms or digital infrastructure knowledge is a bonus, but not essential.
