Position:             Delegate Sales Executive  
Contract:            Full time/Permanent
Location:            London, Hybrid  
Salary:                £25k-30k with 40% base salary commission

Our client is an entrepreneurial and creative, digital-facing organisation on the cutting edge of media. Working in the sustainability and financial services markets.
  
  
Your responsibilities will include:
  
  • Actively manage the client database to ensure information is accurate and kept up to date
  • To be able to present an appropriate sales proposition to the qualified decision maker, with the intention of confirming their attendance at our events
  • Relationship building through active management through meetings, attending events and phone conversations.
  • Competently manage and maintain all elements of the registration process, working towards recruitment and retention deadlines
  • Regularly read industry publications to keep up to date with people moves
  • Be active on Linkedin and across the market to promote events
  • Achieve team event targets and KPIs, for example, number of registrations, number of calls and meetings per week
  • CRM knowledge is preferable (hubspot) with good working knowledge of outlook, excel and word.
  • An additional key part of the role is to identify cross selling opportunities, understanding the client's needs and providing them with information about future events in the portfolio
  • Working as part of a team with strong internal communication skills with sales, marketing and operations.

Skills and abilities:
  • Preferably from a sales background with a natural ability to build relationships
  • A confident individual who is eager to learn
  • You’ll be a strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • You’ll have experience of working in a sales environment with a proven track record to consistently achieve targets
  • You’ll be a quick learner with intellectual curiosity and who can understand different markets and subject matter quickly
  • You’ll be able to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines, as well as keep accurate records of data and call backs 
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic approach and works on own initiative
  • Ability to remain patient and calm under pressure 
  • You’ll be team player who can work across matrix organizations
