Role: Commercial Business Development Manager
Location: London (Hybrid with 2/3 days in the office)
Package: £45K + £33K OTE Uncapped
Contract: Full Time

The commercial team
We work with a diverse range of companies, from big tech, finance, professional services and large corporates to looking to increase their visibility to our established and growing readership of fast scaling tech brands . You’ll be selling a full suite of media products from digital content, newsletter advertising to events and reports sponsorships.

Weʼre looking for business development professionals with proven experience selling media across a full portfolio of products including digital advertising, branded content, sponsored reports, newsletters, webinars and events sponsorship.
- B2B sales experience in a publishing, media or events company.
- Experienced with a full sales cycle and comfortable selling to and retaining clients (this is a 360 sales role).
- Negotiation skills - its essential you feel comfortable discussing client budgets and preparing sales presentations or pitch decks for clients.
- A passion for finding solutions within a suite of products, portfolio sales experience is a must.
- A track record of developing stellar relationships with c-suite executives, marketing managers and important budget holders and a bonus if you already have client contacts
- Account management experience. We have a consultative sales approach, so understanding the nuances of client needs, along with being able to demonstrate a clear process of client management and provide examples of how account growth is achieved is a must.
- Proven track record with accounts managed with a yearly value of £50k +
- The ability to generate your own leads and be comfortable with cold calling and demonstrate a clear process you’ve used in the past with opening senior accounts within a similar media or events business.
- We want someone who is comfortable with G-suite (we’re a google shop), along with CRM management experience.
