 The Role: Senior National Account Manager

Client base: Multiple Grocers & Discounters

Salary: £65k to £80k DOE

Package: 25% uncapped bonus, car and PMI

Location: Field-based England

 The Role 

Deliver budgeted volume, revenue & margin with designated customers through execution of business plans which focus on core range and NPD listings.

The role provides an equal mix of new business (hunter) and account management (farmer).

The position provides a personal focus on retaining the company’s top customers and nurturing those key relationships over time.

You would become a strategic partner and advisor to your client base, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.

The Person

A proven performer at National Account Management level in the UK retail sector:

  •  4 + years’ experience as a National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager looking after the multiple grocers in the UK and/or discounters

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commercial approach and clear knowledge of margin.

  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude

  • Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

  • Highly organised and able to effectively plan and coordinate.

  • Approachable, believable, dependable.

  • A willingness to work with others and respect their views.

  • Work well under pressure.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Resilient, tenacious, hungry and dynamic

  • CRM management system experience.

  • Experience in completion of a successful full PQQ and tender process
