The Company:
  
Our client is a global leading manufacturing company based in the UK, looking to employ a qualified Patent Attorney with a technical background in Chemistry/Physics/Computer Science/Mathematics or Engineering
  
The Role:
  
Key responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
  • Identification and protection of the Group’s Intellectual Property
  • Drafting and prosecution of patent applications
  • Representation of the Group in legal proceedings before the UK and/or European Patent Office
  • Instruction of Foreign Associates on IP matters in overseas jurisdictions on behalf of the Group
  • FTO assessments
  • Enforcement of the group’s IP by correspondence with infringers and, as necessary, initiation and overseeing of legal action.
The Candidate:
  
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • A fully qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney with a background in physics, chemistry, computer science, mathematics or engineering
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to provide high quality verbal and written advice to Scientific & Technical personnel, and Senior Management.
  • Demonstrate a passion for excellence and a willingness to take personal responsibility and ownership for achieving results and objectives.
