We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Sales Manager to join this global Medical Device company on a permanent basis. This role focuses specifically on Hip and Knee implants.
Key Responsibilities:
Field-Based Engagement: Conduct 100% of activities in the field.
Business Relationships: Develop formal business relationships with hospital finance departments.
Payment Management: Ensure timely receipt of payments.
Pricing Discussions: Participate in transfer pricing discussions with the country head, aligning strategies with market dynamics and company policies.
Distribution Agreements: Establish and optimize distribution agreements, managing purchase volumes and distributor pricing to meet organizational goals.
Reimbursement Processes: Gain comprehensive knowledge of reimbursement and insurance processes specific to the assigned territory.
Network Expansion: Identify, build, manage, and expand an effective network of distributors, sub-distributors, and independent sales agents to enhance product penetration.
Inventory and Servicing: Work closely with the country head and channel partners to ensure efficient inventory management and prompt product servicing.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the medical device industry, specifically in orthopedic products. Experience in managing field-based activities and developing strategic business relationships is crucial. Knowledge of reimbursement processes and the ability to manage a network of distributors are key to success in this role.
