Role
As the Marketing Director, you’ll be at the helm of planning, executing, and optimising multichannel campaigns for a premium international event series. You'll lead budget strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure every touchpoint—from emails to digital assets to website content—is on point and performance-driven.
Our client is looking for someone to help elevate brand presence, driving attendance and create unforgettable event experiences through bold strategy, compelling content, and seamless execution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a full-funnel marketing calendar across email, digital, social, content, and partnerships
Own and manage campaign budgets, working in tandem with senior stakeholders to maximise ROI analyse performance and continuously optimise based on data, insights, and evolving industry trends
Work closely with design and video teams to approve visuals that elevate the campaign experience
Creative direction & content leadership through brand alignment, and persuasive messaging
Lead the charge on event website strategy, ensuring it’s intuitive, up-to-date, and conversion-driven
Foster relationships with key media and association partners to expand reach and reputation
Liaise with sales, product, and operations to align marketing with business goals
Requirements
7+ years’ experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within events, media, or fast-growth B2B environments
Proven ability to lead end-to-end campaign strategy for global event brands
Experience growing and managing teams, with strong mentoring skills and a collaborative mindset
Confident influencing senior stakeholders and comfortable presenting data-driven results
Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, Excel) with strong analytical capability
Agile, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture
