The Role:
  
Together, we are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Patent Attorney to join their Dublin office.
The ideal candidate will have excellent legal and technical knowledge with a keen interest in leading-edge technologies.
  
Key responsibilities include providing legal advice on valuable IP rights (patents, technical data, licenses, designs), interpreting laws/regulations, conducting deep technical and legal research, drafting and prosecuting patents, and offering legal representation to clients in EPO or other IP matters.
  
The successful candidate will meet the below requirements:
  • Qualified European Patent Attorney
  • 10 years experience in patents
  • Preferably an honours degree in electronic, electrical or computer-related field (other degrees will be considered depending on experience)
  • Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting patents
  • Highly knowledgeable on technical, scientific and legal aspects of intellectual property
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain, clarify, and simplify complex technical information
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Natural leader who can work under pressure and reliably meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel as required
