We are working on several great opportunities for qualified or part-qualified Patent Attorneys specialising in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines to join leading IP practices across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications across national (UKIPO), European (EPO), and international patent offices.
• Advising clients ranging from early-stage startups to multinational corporations on IP strategy and portfolio management.
• Conducting freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, patentability searches, and providing clear risk assessment opinions.
• Assisting with or leading opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO.
• Managing existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for business development and practice growth.

Ideal Candidate: 

• Qualifications: Qualified Patent Attorney (EPA and/or CPA) or part-qualified finalist.
• Educational Background: A strong degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a closely aligned field.
