Salary: €45,000 - €80,000 (Flexible according to experience)
This is a European powerhouse intellectual property firm with multiple offices across the UK and in major European countries. They provide comprehensive IP services across the UK and internationally. Their clients are many and varied, from blue-chip companies to small and medium-sized businesses around the world.
This is an important time for their Munich office as they recently merged with a German IP firm and are growing their European base of clients. The increase in workload and client-work has called for the hiring of an additional patent attorney into the firm.
You must have a technical background in electronics, electrical engineering, physics or any hi-tech field. Your level of qualification can be more flexible as they would consider those that are part-qualified up to those at Associate level. For those part-qualified you must have passed some of the relevant exams.
You can expect to be involved in:
Advising and representing clients for patentability of inventions and prosecution.
You will advise innovating companies and be intensively involved in all aspects of protecting their innovation (intellectual property strategy, protection, active management, defence, valuation, etc.).
You will protect the interests of the clients, in cooperation with lawyers in our network, you will also defend the interests of the clients in proceedings at national and international Courts.
