This is a long-standing and renowned firm of Intellectual Property professionals. They have always been at the forefront of innovations in client service design and delivery and are recognised as a market leader with offices across Europe.
They are in need of an additional patent attorney with a technical background in either electronics, mechanics, ICT, telecommunication or related fields. You should be either a qualified European Patent Attorney (preference) or a Dutch, French or Belgian Patent Attorney. You should be at least part-qualified (having passed a couple of the necessary exam papers) with around 2 years experience.
They will also consider those of a more senior profile as this could progress into a leading role within the business.
You will advise innovating companies and be intensively involved in all aspects of protecting their innovation (intellectual property strategy, protection, active management, defence, valuation, etc.).
You will protect the interests of the clients at the Belgian and European Patent Office, as well as at other foreign offices. In cooperation with lawyers in our network, you will also defend the interests of the clients in proceedings at national and international Courts. As a qualified attorney, you will become gradually responsible for cases and clients in your technical field.
- You must be fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French or German would also be an advantage.
