We are recruiting a patent attorney for a well-known firm in Ireland. This is one of Ireland’s leading IP firms that operate in the UK, Europe, and globally. They are renowned for their attention to training and supporting their attorneys, and the path to Directorship can be swift. This is based in their Headquarters in Dublin, it will initially be a home-working position and then post-pandemic will be a mix of home-working and being present in the office. This position will sit within the Electronics and Computer department.
This opportunity has real growth potential to quickly develop into a senior position so you must be competent in client portfolio management. They are a smaller firm and so you can expect to be involved with everything – managing the whole patenting process while also managing clients and acquiring new business. This position is well suited for a commercially-focused patent attorney.
You will excel if you have proven to work effectively independently. You will also be expected to support/supervise two trainees in the near future. They are hiring for a qualified European Patent Attorney, ideally with around 2 years PQE.

- A PhD and/or masters in a discipline related to Electronics and/or Computer Science
- 2 years minimum qualified as a European Patent Attorney (with the opportunity to take further qualifications)
