Opportunity to work across premium soft drinks brand, already well established in the US and UK and now making its mark on the German market. Their current customer base consists of the leading distribution companies and premium retail groups in more than 50 countries and they are seeking someone to support their continued success in Germany. 

 

As Wholesale Sales Manager, you will be focused on developing, managing, and driving wholesale sales. You will do this through winning new listings, driving sales volume, and maximising profitable sales and margin growth. 

 

We are looking for someone with proven success identifying new listings with leading off-trade wholesalers in Germany; this includes Cash and Carry wholesale, delivered wholesale, and independent convenience store wholesale. It would also be advantageous should you have previous experience with appropriate on-trade, i.e. restaurants, where the product could see success.

 

This role will best suit someone skilled in:  

  • Developing rewarding, long-term relationships with customers and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
  • Analysing data to inform decision making 
  • Motivating oneself to act with urgency in order to achieve listings and develop business, addressing any setbacks in order to pursue maximum opportunities 
  • Effectively negotiating and able to gain concession in adverse situations to achieve win-win agreements
  • Effectively managing their own time to establish orderly structures and processing that work toward clear priorities  
  • Accurately forecasting volume, value and margin contribution from the customer ledger

 

 

In order to be successful in this role you must also be:

  • Business level fluent in English and German 
  • Experienced in winning listings in the German wholesale market 
  • Experienced in dealing with buyers, regional contacts and other key customer contacts in the wholesale channels
  • Possess structured selling skills, strong drive, and energy to drive success
