Are you fluent in English and French and looking to leverage your FMCG experience to grow within a successful business?


Our client exclusively manages all international business on behalf of over 100 FMCG brand partners, operating in over 50 countries. They work with leading distribution companies and premium retail groups. They are looking for an experienced account manager, to win and grow new business, and nurture new business opportunities.


The Country Manager will drive the growth of wholesale & supermarket chains across France and Belgium via direct supply and distributor partners. You will be souring and managing distribution partners, winning new listing, and strategically developing customers. Additionally, you will be developing marketing activating and maximising sales.


Success in this role requires you to be

  • Business level fluent in English and French
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate and influence others
  • An analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong drive & desire to grow and develop within the business
  • Able to think creatively to deliver winning solutions


Success in this role requires you to have:

  • Commercial off trade sales responsibility in a successful FMCG small business
  • Extensive experience winning listings and growing volumes within the French supermarket chains
  • Success winning listings and growing volume within Belgium supermarket chains would also be advantageous
  • Proven success managing of distributor partners and a successful history of negotiations
  • Experience in dealing with buyers, regional contacts, and other key customer contacts in the wholesale channels
  • A track record of exceptional customer relationships
  • A hunter mentality and proven success in generating new business
  • Experience managing P&L and a proven track record of P&L growth & mix management
  • Structured selling skills combined with a structured approach to problem solving
  • Leadership skills, a strong team player with a proven track record of project management and the ability to work cross functionally
