Career Progression – Our career journeys with Caselton Clark

"Having known Caselton Clark since 2009, I re-approached them in 2012 while I was at LexisNexis as Group Advertising Manager looking after the Legal Financial portfolio. While interviewing through Caselton Clark for opportunities at that time one of the directors threw me a curveball by enquiring if I would be interested in jumping over the fence and joining the team. Having never given recruitment a second thought I took the risk, as the opportunity looked very attractive while understanding that it would not be an easy challenge! 10 years on and I am successfully running the company’s Intellectual Property desk that is growing year on year and managing a fantastic team of three”

“As part of my annual appraisal each year, we discuss career progression and which learning avenues I’d like to explore over the next year. I’ve always had a keen interest in digital marketing, I expressed this to my manager and we discussed the positive impact it would have on the IP departments marketing, as well as an additional string to my bow. Last month I completed my Digital Marketing Techniques course through the Chartered Institute of Marketing, I thoroughly enjoyed the course content and am applying my enhanced knowledge to support the marketing function at Caselton Clark.”
